Thanks! This is our first 'fun' car (the other two cars we have are Toyota Prius -- very responsible, not very fun).

Maybe I should try calling and see if it got moved up! From all the antidotes posted, Seems like this status is a little ambiguous still.

It is getting shipped through Galveston and so the important factor is it getting to Bremerhaven in time to catch a ship headed there. From the Galveston forum, it looks like K-line is the only shipping company carrying these cars on that route, and their schedule to Galveston becomes more scarce in the fall. Last month, the shipping out dates were Sept 15th (or so) or Oct 11th which was super annoying because it seemed that the car likely would sit in port for almost a month waiting for that Oct 11 shipping. But now it looks like the Bremerhaven port date is Sept 23rd instead, so fingers cross, it gets on that ship. The next one still isn't until October 11th.

well I'm week 36 and mine is definitely coming through Galveston since I live in Houston. They are predicting October delivery and I'm ok with that.

I don't think so. Another post https://g20.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh...73&postcount=7 had a car entering the queue 6/27 yet the scheduled production date was moved to 8/10.

This. Was told very clearly twice by Genius that my build week and the production date given are when vehicle has completed production.

What was your production date? Mines tomorrow (9/9) but still at Production Begins.

Had a week 41 build and just moved to 150 today! Was really expecting a delay but this was a nice surprise. Prod week is now 9/21 week 38. Woohoo!
