There was no real way to fit both tips in the stock tip location without severely decreasing the piping diameter which we were not going to do.

None of the true Quad tip systems on the market work with the factory tip options so while it may not be the look for everyone it is an option and we like options.

Our main goal was to create a true working quad system on this vehicle in both configurations. We also wanted a two factory valve system that worked off the oem sport buttons instead of just the one from factory or requiring a aftermarket controller and motors to be wired in.

We do offer the MAD Quad tip option but it does requires removing your outer factory tips.

i just went through the thread and saw that if you go for quad tips, the downward facing pipe is extended and is not visible from under the car. is this correct?

shipping to australia is an option on your site. is this also confirmed?

If you go with our tip option you will have 4 rear facing tips like a traditional exhaust. That downward pipe will now have a tip on it.

Well if MAD is not paying him then they need too because he is selling the hell out of it. LOL

I do like that MAD has a more realistic price point, the other is exhaust systems just over markup their products, which is pretty sad. Still cant feel the pops and bangs, good thing is the flash tuners can tame it down. However, it does sound good and undeniably the best option on the market right now.

Roughly how long of a turn around time is it from time ofnpurchase to being shipped if I was to purchase this exhaust and intake? Pm me if it's easier :-)

Typically a day or two if in stock. If the website shows add to cart the item is in stock.

Your welcome. However I think this community will appreciate this very much and I am glad to see it make production. I appreciate the price point as it will give me an opportunity to pick one up without feeling taken advantaged of. I am new to the BMW community but, not to modifying cars. I find it very pretty ridiculous what some of these companies charge for there products just because it involves a BMW, Porsche, Lamborghini etc.... I can digress on this for awhile.

I ordered mine couple days ago, when it comes in i plan on posting a pic if that helps. I went with black tips for my dravit gray.

Installed mine yesterday with carbon tips. I have it paired with an Active Autowerke catted dp. Sounds amazing! Cold start isn't obnoxious. Comfort mode is tame and allows me to go under the radar and creep out of my neighborhood. Sport mode is aggressive and sounds perfect to me. Very slight drone on highway, but easily drowned out when music playing.

Installed in my garage on ramps... Pain in the ass doing it alone on the ground, but got it done. Will need to get back under to adjust a little a get the tips exactly where I want them.

EXTREMELY happy with my purchase. I'll upload videos tomorrow

Did u have any issues with the exhaust valve lining up with the motor? I was not able to get them lined up remotely close.

I did. I made it work by lining up the valve clip as close as possible with the bottom portion of it being set. Then I held it in place while installing the mounting screws to pinch it down. Then used a screwdriver to push the upper portion into place. Works perfectly

Sounds like it wasn’t off by much? I tried to do the same method but my line up was off by 45°.
