Straight pipes is enjoyable to watch. They're upbeat, fun, the videography is solid.
I like their reviews because they tend to review cars in a way that seems relatable - ultimately, would I actually *buy* this car? In the case of the M340i, that seemed to be an unabashed YES.

Doug comes across as a bit too smug and 'smarmy', and just...irritating.

The great thing about the internet is that everyone has the ability to put their content up.

The not-so-great thing about the internet is that everyone has the ability to put their content up. ;-)

No one should ever trust any reviewer...if you want to buy a car, test drive it yourself.
I only find Car & Driver to be similar to my impressions. Most reviewers however, especially from non-automotive websites and anybody on Youtube give cupcake "reviews." They are just thankful somebody lent them a car for a day.
Lol

I got turned off from Straight Pipes guys the moment they started cayenne s review by saying it's so comfortable with great feedback and all. That was complete opposite of what I experienced over hours of driving. I could see they were just thankful to Porsche.

I like Doug Demuro because he talks about all quirks and features of the cars, which is real good information. I stop before he starts Doug score...that's useless.
He kinda sucks too

He's Jay Leno, voice, chin and all, but without the comedian cred, garage full of cars and head full of hair.
I like Jay Leno because he always finds something positive in all the cars and lets the experts talk about technical things. Very sensible guy.

Doug In my mind is a detailed brochure. He is reading all the details for you with some silly ness

I find Redline Reviews quite comprehensive! However, they take awhile to upload reviews!
