Disabling 80/120 km/hr speed chimes on M340i LCI

Hi folks,

I have recently got a 2023 M340i LCI model and want to disable the 80/120 km/hr speed chime alerts.I tried bimmer code,but it does not support Idrive 8.Can someone help me as to how to do it using e-sys cable?

hello Kedar , on idrive 8 coding stuff is limited due new secure coding.

Not all ECU fall under secure coding. Only few ECU have secure coding.

My first post here. I am in line for an M340i which should hopefully be delivered to me by the end of October and that has been the reason for searching for this thread.

Once I get my vehicle, I too would be looking for just this mod. Will watch this thread with great anticipation.

The chimes can be coded off. Which model is it?

2024 model X5 Lci with idrive 8.

I want to do it as a DIY. request you to tell me the method on how to do it through e-sys.

It likely the Kombi is secure coded. But if not you need to edit the Kombi cafd file. If you have Enet cable i can help. PM me.

The Kombi is secured and can't be coded at the moment.But if the region is changed to other country we can get rid of the chimes, which only BMW can do it .I have still not figured how to do it.
