Michelin Treadware

I have the High Performance Cooling & Tire Package with the Michelin 4s.
I just had my first service performed at 5k and they say the treadwear is at 4m.
Isn't that normally the time to change tires?
What tread depth did these things come with that they would have depth of 4m with such low mileage?

Not too far off before needing replacement if that is in fact the depth. But you should be good for a little while. Be careful in the rain.

Go on Amazon and get yourself a tire depth gauge. They are like 5 bucks.

Well lol, All I was saying is if you’re at 4mm you’re not that far off from needing replacement. Absolutely bananas that you gotta replace them soon only after 5k.

I think I only got like 15k miles out of my last set of PS4Ss.

I would check the tread yourself.

Get the tread depth gauge and verify it yourself. The guy or gal measuring at the dealer was doing a 5 minute check of 20 things listed on the service list, so the accuracy is suspect.

Michelin should have a spec for the original tread depth if you look it up on tire rack or the Michelin site.
