Why do we change the wheels?
It's a question I often find myself being asked, and asking in return.
Well of course we have the appearance factor, we happily swap old style for new style, but it's also a matter of personal taste, or it should be.
In terms of performance however, there's also some grounded reasoning for getting a new set; for example, a larger size can get you better connection to the road, which means better stability.
Furthermore, if you go for something forged, it will reduce the total body weight, and improve other parameters, such as the starting acceleration and braking.
Of course there's not one single ideal upgrade for all vehicles, so you have to tweak these individually, but hey, that's the beauty of it all.

The G20 in the photos has been upgraded to a 20" 795M M Performance set, Ferric Gray color, suited with Pirelli P-Zero R-F tyres, and the results are absolute eye candy, and the customer tells me he's happier than ever, running on them.

I was hoping to upgrade to these rims in black but unfortunately the price on them went up $700 effective January 1st

The 795Ms look so good! I wish BMW offered then in gloss black as another option instead of just the black satin finish.

We do this quite often, to give customers more options.
