Good Morning to all reading this

Im currently on the market for a g20 330i and the only thing i've been able to find for the past few months is 2021+ models

my main goal is to add some power and pops to the car and not break the bank too much...

between upgrading the turbo and sending the ecu to be unlocked would both be around the same price ($2500)

I'm leaning more towards just leaving the ecu locked due to having to ship it out along with the extra hassle and instead upgrading the turbo along with upgrading whatever parts would be necessary... (dp, turbo inlet ect.)

My question to you all is what would you recommend and would i need a tune in order to run the upgraded turbo

p.s i know the level surface information when it comes to tunes and turbos etc. so any advice is greatly appreciated!

I've been wondering the same thing; what's required to run the upgraded turbo. I've seen the IPOS450 is "bolt-on" but how would it run if you just slap on the IPOS450 on the stock tune? I actually emailed IPOS and they told me while the turbo can be ran on stock tune or JB4 in the short term; they recommend unlocking the DME by FEMTO and getting tuned for the turbo.
