Anyone had noise issues after H&R Springs?
Hey guys,
Recently installed H&R lowering sport springs on 2020 m340i Xdrive paired with burger Motorsport 13mm wheel spacers all around. I’ve noticed some squeaking/creaks going over bumps and dips in the road lately (almost sounds like squeaky interior plastic sounds when you press on them). Does anyone know what this is? I feel like it’s coming from the rear suspension, but can’t be too sure. Wondering if anyone else who installed lowering springs has had this issue and how to fix it? Thanks |

Did you go back to stock suspension? I can probably deal with little creaks here and there but my OCD can’t handle it haha. Just want to make sure it’s not a bigger issue.

I talked with several people in more detail about this problem, I have the edc adaptive suspension, the car was already lower than one with normal or m sport suspension, and for this reason the drop was even higher than it should have been. From what I understood for the adaptive suspension, there would not be an official spring model, but I think the best thing to do would be to go with the Eibach version because it doesn't have such a big drop. I will most likely replace the oem springs, because I don't want to destroy the shock absorbers. I also got in touch with those who delivered my springs and I will return them.
