So on that same line of reasoning, would a car equipped with an LSD need the change as well? Either 330 or 340?

Am I being too paranoid?

It wouldnt hurt. I did my engine oil at 4000km, will be doing a change at 10000km and every 10000km onwards.

I just changed my oil at 1200 miles and looking at the used oil and oil filter there were quite a bit of metal shavings.

I never went past half throttle, 5000rpm, or go past 100mph during those first 1200 miles.

I'll change it again around 6000 miles

My experience with the BMW "Genius" was when he told us my wife's brand new X3MC has a DCT in it.... (roll eyes and walk away).
