Edit: immortalized it on youtube: Description has a few timestamps if you wanted to go straight to open/closed valve revs FYI, I took this vid earlier in the year with a stock DP, just installed the AA DP so I'll make another video. Love the lowkey burbles, honestly not a fan of the loud and obnoxious pops Last edited by sunbeh; 12-24-2024 at 08:06 PM.. |

Either size look good imo. The 100s fill out the exhaust opening a bit better and look more aggressive. The 'smaller' tips look nice and clean as well

Does anyone else have an issue with vibration?
Mine has a slight vibration around 1800 revs and it’s only when the valves are open which is strange? Thanks |

Could you please explain how to wire the power supply to the fuse panel? I’m absolutely clueless with electronics so I need it dumbed down. Did you buy one of these “fuse taps” and put the power in fuse 251 and ground the circuit at some random metal bolt? Do you mind sending a picture of how you did it and what exactly you bought?

Yup mine does make a very odd noise for like a tenth of a second while I’m accelerating past 1800 RPM, but the exhaust fully cleared the brace and had a few millimeters of space from heat shield where the brace is so I think it’s just something I’ll live with. The exhaust is fantastic otherwise. And if you don’t mind could you please help with my question above since I know you were able to wire it to the fuse panel? Thanks

Would you mind posting an Amazon link for the correct tap or anything else I’ll need? Thank you

This is the exact one. You get size small. Not micro. It goes into fuse place 251. And then you just ground it to anywhere in the trunk that's metal on metal. If it's not grounded well enough it just won't work. So it's extremely simple |

Fair warning the exhaust does come in a bunch of little parts with tons of band clamps haha, so it's a fair amount of work compared to exhausts that come with larger pieces.
First shop I took it to guy was honest that he didn't work on BMWs and didn't feel comfortable about the wiring. "Brother it'll take an hour just to unwrap all the bubble wrap 😂". Next guy said it's in his ballpark, they have done plenty of exhausts like this. I'll probably do the fuze/12V part at home and then take it in so they can do the wiring up to the trunk along with the exhaust. They said probably $400-600 for the install |

Problem #2, I think I actually lost some Jack points under my car from running over something. Dealer noticed it last time I went for an oil change. So having to take it to a shop for the install and probably losing $500 to that, sucks but it's still cheaper than an OEM exhaust. Is the wiring hard to do? Both valves share the same power connection? |

I'm thinking about getting the tips laser engraved with the Alibaba logo on them.
