I think i got side marker delete working.



I changed type from 5U93 to 5U91 in VO and coded both FLM2 modules. The amber headlight parking LED's are off now.

Be careful, there are voltage changes to some of the bulbs (turn signal IIRC) and other owners (myself included) ended up getting errors due to this. You should compare the NCDs before and after coding, and revert all voltage or non sidemarker related changes

What did you code in the FLM modules?

I didn't FDL code the modules. I replaced the US body code (5U93) with that of a European version (5U91) in VO. I then activated FA and coded FLM2.

Here are the differences I noticed when generating an ECE NCD for my car in regards to FLM.


LM03 is the sidemarker (notice all the [00] values for ECE to turn it off)
LM01 is the turn signal (US is supposedly brighter)

Bringing up an old post...did VO coding the FLM module change your light distribution pattern to EURO. The Euro headlights have a distinct line of light vs the spread pattern in US. Did it also activate your High Beam assist?

No, not in my case. FYI, BDC controls VLD and Anti-dazzle/NGHB in my M340iX.

Ahh...I'll code the BDC to the '51'. When I coded the flm modules it changed my light pattern to Euro, which is actually what I wanted

I have the laser lights and I ended up VO coding in 5U91 on my FLM modules and the side marker is indeed off when the headlights are on. Is it just me or do you guys notice a noise when the lights do their start up "look around" specifically when the lights look down?

I have anti dazzle coded in as well if that makes a difference

I recently did this. These are the only changes you need to turn off the sidemarker in the headlamp without any error codes:



Code this in both FLM modules....

Now I'm still trying to figure out how to make the mirror sidemarkers stay constantly ON when not indicating; anyone know how on G20? It's easy on G30 and other chassis, but seems G20 is different.

Just tried this on my 23 G20 LCI, no errors but side markers are still orange. Change all values to Wert_1… not sure why it didn’t work.

This worked perfectly to turn off the sidemarkers on my pre-LCI G05 X5 with lasers

After some research and trial and error, I believe I figured it out. After coding and waiting a minute or two no errors came up, so seems like it'
s correct. Instead of coding LM03, I coded LM11, and only this set: LM11_DUTY_CYCLE_BINNING_CLASS 0-4 to Wert_2 (00). Seems like LM03 equals LM11in the LCI cars. Attached a photo showing what it looks like.
