Are you low on fuel by any chance? It only shows the fuel gauge in reduce mode when my car is low on fuel.

Hi All! I'll try with the coding... my G29 had all the latest software upgrade but no reduced mode. I found out about it from the loaner they gave me yesterday, a 530i. It's soooo nice to clean up the clutter. What software is used to code the option? Thanks!!!

You will need Bimmercode App and an adaptor - i use ENET cable + Ethernet adapter as it's very quick to read and code but you can choose BT or WiFi.

I guess warning msg will pop up even it is reduce mode.

also if you press bc button, it shows everything for 30 secs or 1 min .

I have a different issue. I had the reduced mode (from factory - no coding done) a while back and I did use it for a bit before going back to full mode. My car doesn't have the camera in the cluster. I'm on software version 07.2019.38 iirc. Anyhoo, I checked today and found that reduced mode has disappeared in my car. I did reset the idrive once to get 3D view in my maps. So I connected BC and saw that CB_BERUHIGT is set to aktiv. Which means it should be present on the idrive. But it doesn't show up. I reset my idrive again by long pressing the volume button (my idrive restarted thrice in the 80s that I kept pressing the volume button - not sure if thats how it is supposed to be). Still no reduced mode but CB still shows as aktiv. Wonder what the issue is!

Darn, didn't work for me.

I Checked my coding but all it seems to have done is added the driver assistance display options for some reason (but I can't select any of them, and I know for a fact I don't have it coded in anyway). In fact it looks like its bugged out the whole menu unfortunately as none of the options seem to do anything. Going to try playing around with a few other options in ESys or Bimmercode.

that sounds weird, try restore all the coding at instrument cluster and head unit and do cb_beruhigt aktive only.

Thanks, I'll try the latter first.

I have a feeling I know what is causing it though. I coded in the tire temp displays etc (I actually got them to display some of them properly, you just have to code a few more things). I'm betting given that is an 'M' option it may be conflicting as coding it in does add a few odd things elsewhere.

Yes I coded in the tire temp and psi display on the live cockpit too. I assume that's what messed up the reduced mode. Not sure.

Btw after coding tyre temp and psi, when I press the TC off button once, it says M dynamic stabilization or something. Before that, it used to say Sport stabilization or something. Definitely not M. Another change that I noticed.

So I undid the coding for temp and psi widget on the cluster since I didn't use it much and I also felt it looked kinda incomplete without the green tyre symbols on it (I'd have kept it if it had the symbols).

After undoing it, I got reduced mode back along with the valet parking option (which I noticed was also missing).

TL;DR - If you code the temp and psi widget on the live cockpit, you'll probably lose the ability to view the live cockpit in reduced mode as well as valet parking option.

Like others i lost reduced mode in iDrive settings. I have bimmercode but do not have these options under expert in instrument cluster? I have a 19 330i USA. Any ideas?
