Finally Got The Hang Of Coding My G20

I just took delivery of my 2020 330i last week and I got the coding bug.
After a lot of reading, trial and error I finally got the hang of it. It's very similar to VW/Audi VAG Com which I have used for years except the addition of needing to use a separate token app to get in.

Here's what I used...
EsysX Expert
Esys ver. 3.33.4
PSdZData Lite v.4.24.31

My vehicle was updated to the most recent iDrive software ver. 07/2020.30 with Android Auto. Here is the coding I have done successfully so far...
Remove Legal Disclaimers
Video In Motion
Full SMS Display
Coasting option in Comfort Plus
Speed Correction
5x Turn Signal Flash
Comfort+ Mode
Sport+ Mode
Fog Lamps On With High Beams
Fog Lamps On With Parking Lights
Disable Driver/Passenger Seatbelt Chime & Red Cluster Icon
Default Driving Mode - Sport Individual
Bowers & Wilkins Equalizer

Hi Clone. Can you tell me where you got the coding software? Thanks.

I bought EsysX on their website, the rest I got right from these forums.

I was considering adding Comfort Plus. Assume you have the adaptive suspension? Do you notice it being a softer ride? Anything else noticeable?

Yes I do have the Adaptive suspension. To answer your question about noticing a softer ride, I haven't really had the car long enough to be able to say. I just bought it last week and have only put 300 miles on it. I just wanted to have all the available settings that I could.

I'd probably say comfort plus feels a slightly softer ride, with engine/transmission feeling similar to Eco Pro.

I coded Comfort Plus this morning. I can definitely notice the softer ride and it’s really noticeable when I go over the traffic calming measures near my house. The car rocks front to back as it goes over them!

Once out on the road, it’s less noticeable but as you say slightly softer feel. Whereas I have Sport Individual set with Comfort dampening, I definitely wouldn’t want Comfort Plus as an option as you can feel the wallow in the corners.

I couldn’t notice any difference in the steering though. Engine / transmission seemed to be dialled down a bit more than standard Comfort but not as severe as Eco Pro.

I can definitely see myself using this, probably for longer non-motorway driving in traffic. Seems to be a more useable alternative to Eco Pro (which I would only use on a motorway where speed is relatively constant).

Can you provide me the psdzdata? Dealer updated my m340 to 07/2020.45. I cannot find the latest version of psdzdata. My old data won't work now. Thank you

Do you have the pathway for the coasting option? Would love to add that via bimmercode to my car
