You should have more than two accepted codes for a working HU. Which codes are there? Are they accepted or rejected?

thanks i just rechecked the codes and there are 3 activation codes now. not sure if i misread them last time but the codes are there in the HU module and the ASD code is also present in the ASD module

i wonder if i just need to reset the electronics

in the past the advise would be to disconnect the terminals from the battery and touch them together for a few minutes and then reconnect them to the battery - does that still work?

You can just remove negative terminal only. Wait for a while and connect it back.
Have checked if the ASD is disable through coding?

will i need to recode the battery when i reconnect it?

re ASD: i coded ASD off a while ago but it won't code back on. at the moment coding ASD is ON. also did a software update to reset all the codes. also factory coded the ASD module with protool, nothing is working.

it's not the end of the world as i can hear the exhaust without ASD but it's very strange
