Maxton Design Rear Valance Install
Finally received my Maxton design rear valance and I’m happy with the way it looks. Was running an eBay m performance replica diffuser before. Wasn’t too crazy with it as it wasn’t aggressive enough for me.
Only caveat with this diffuser is that the tabs for the diffuser don’t snap into place on the car. They really just slide into place and sit there. Other than that, it’s great. Side skirts are next |

Looks great man! I have the non-M Maxton rear diffuser and its held up well. The 3M tape is key, but so are the numerous screws to keep it in place.
The only thing that sucked about the Maxton skirts was losing the Welcome Light (turned the feature off). Unless you can modify them to allow the light to shine down through. The 3/4 M -Sport ones won't give that issue, but the full-length Maxtons look better and match the contour lines over the car IMO. |

Yeah, that's what I was afraid of when deciding between the Maxton and the 3/4 m sport ones. Ended up buying the m sport skirts to avoid that issue.

If you want, you can look up a YouTube video on how to remove the OEM diffuser. Once you watch that, you'll be able to install the Maxton one no problem |

Yup I did. I went with an eBay replica of the M performance splitter. Fitment was 7/10. I ended up cracking the extensions to the splitter, so I'm thinking about changing to a different one this year.

Did that require self tapping screws or also only used factory screws?

Next mods are hopefully black mirror caps, darker tint, and wheels and tires. |
