Gesture control - Works worse after software update

After the latest software update on my car (03.2020) the sensitivity and accuracy for the gesture control for volume up/down has gotten worse. Mute/unmute works fine, but for volume, I need to spine my hand several times for it to respond, works maybe 1 in 5 times. I have tried fast, slow, different angles and heights. It's not responding like it did before the update.

Anyone else with this problem? Possible to re-calibrate/reset the sensitivity?

I have noticed that gesture control does not work well if you are wearing a thick long sleeve coat.

I noticed the same thing. I was on 07.2019 and after upgrade to 03.2020 I noticed it working less well. Thought it was just in my head. For me it's particularly track skip.

I’ve never understood gesture control. It was a gimmick to show people the first day I had the car, but it’s so much easier to move my thumb and press the button on the steering wheel.
The only time it ever works 100% is when My wife decides to point at the map, which always cancels my sat nav routing
