I highly doubt that CA will be made standard on the 3 so you will have to make sure you have that box ticked and Car Key will be on BMW's first.

Apologies for bumping an old thread, but does anyone know for certain which build week the MY21 started for UK cars? When did they start fitting mild hybrid to the m340i?

It was the end of July. If your car isn't built yet then it'll have MHT.

Well it's all very confusing. According to the online genius chat, my car will not have MHT. Apparently it is only cars built from November, which doesn't seem to tie into the MY21 change. It's a bit of a shame that I am missing out on it, as the car was built at the end of September.

I'd take what the "Genius" says with a pinch of salt. They told me my car wouldn't be at the dealer until the end of October, and I picked it up in September. If your car was built in September I'd wager it'll be with the MHT.

Yes maybe, but he did have to go away and check. Also the dealer said that the first year tax is £1300, and if it was MHT it would be lower at about £900 i believe, so its looking less likely it does have MHT unfortunately.

I asked online as I thought I had a 2021 (July build, sept delivery inc android auto) but they said not.

If you look at the configurator now, MHT is highlighted in the 'options'. Also red brake calipers which look a bit crass compared to the blue imho

Yes I don't like the red calipers either, although depends on the external colour choice. At least you can still choose blue.

Did the online genius confirm whether November was the start of production for the MY21? If so, that would match the response I got. Bit frustrating really as the benefits of the mild hydrid seem to outweigh the negatives, and looks like my car missed it by a month.

I think it's nice to have a choice. Sometimes the blue doesn't go with the exterior colour.

I'm about to take delivery of an Oxide Grey 330e Touring, and the red callipers go very nicely with the red Fiona Red interior.

That does look good in that colour combo, and must be a MY21 car. When was it built?
