I think the 792's look nice.. thats why I went custom build... couldnt find a m340i with 792 wheels, laserlight headlights and adaptive suspension.. so everytime i went to a dealership, it was a deal breaker for me.

R12ax7, thank you for the feedback and oddly enough I actually prefer the look of the 790 wheels. As TTG mentioned, if I do run into traction issue (which I doubt), I can always go with a staggered setup, or a wider squared setup as you have suggested.

BC2005, the red caliper and 792s look really good with black sapphire.

I'm a big fan of the 793i wheels. Mostly because the car came with them, but also the two-tone thing is neat.

Went with 18in because I planned to travel with my new M340i. I too think the 19in look better (when rarely clean plus they show off the calipers more).
My older 330ci has different size directional tires that are not supposed to be rotated and they start to develop road noise after 10k. I rotate them backwards (on the same axle) every now and then for a thousand miles to get rid of the cupping and quiet them down again, but don't like the hassle.

792s are still my preference, but I like 793s quite a bit better than 791s. They just look better.
