I just hope this upgrade has resolved the “dimming screens” that I have had since delivery, never been resolved at the dealer with various upgrades to the software. Has anyone else had this? And/or seen improvement since this upgrade?

I never "lost" the automated seat/steering wheel heating but it seems to only be programmable for the driver.

Is that in Rules for Air Conditioning app? I don't recall seeing option for drivers side only however that would be good. Very rarely do both of us need to get into the car on a cold morning.... and I'm not a big fan of heated seats anyway.

It is in Rules for Air Conditioning menu but automated seat heating seems to only be for the driver.
Even if you go without passenger, it could detect if there is a passenger on the seat (pressure sensor) and not enable it (which is what my Mazda is doing).

I only ever had it for the driver's seat (to come on automatically with the steering wheel heating).

I have just finished the update and all my codings were lost (start-stop engine, Sport Plus / Comfort Plus, video in motion, etc).
I hope it's "safe" to put them back...

I did some coding last night after the latest iDrive update with BimmerCode. Update your BimmerCode. There are some new things available

It has been few months since the last time I used BimmerCode.
There was no option to change the ambient lighting color at the time. Not without going into expert mode anyway.
The other thing I've noticed is the option to switch off the lights when engine is running.
