At least you have a car, I am currently carless and have been since January. I have access to one when needed but it's not quite the same as having your own!

To be honest the pandemic has meant my need for a car has lessened somewhat which has made the wait easier.

Looks lovely, with so many going for the Shadowline Plus pack it's good to see I'm not the only one who prefers Cerium Grey!

The Cerium looks like it's going to take some maintenance, but I do like the look of it

Indeed. The wife is confused as to why I am waking up at 5am every morning to drive somewhere to take my daily exercise...

As long as I am back by 8am when the kids wake up it's all good!! 😬

Am I the only one who ignores that and floors it from day one? Once warmed up of course.

I ignored this in my BMW M140i but I am religiously following the run-in on my new M340i

Even dropping dropping the gears whilst cruising to alter the revs.

Chris, my son got a low mileage 140i on the day of lockdown so we will have two 40i engines on the drive. It is even more low mileage now. It has a Remus exhaust and is much louder than standard and does pop and bang on the overun. He loves it!!! Although I do remind him mine has more power...

Lucky you. Still waiting for my car. Ordered 25november and should go into build next week. Fingers crossed......

That is a great driveway!
I do miss my M140i, it had a Quicksilver exhaust so it was quite anti social. But the M340i is definitely faster in a straight line, the M140i suffers from traction issues on anything but perfect road surfaces.

I would’ve love to have kept it but we just don’t have the need for two cars

I'm new here - but picked up my new 330e last week.

Its a MSport with the Plus pack - in Portimao Blue. It's my first BMW i'm still getting to grips with the iDrive stuff after years of VAG ownership.

I had ordered it in late Feb .. it never got built so I managed to do a deal on a similar spec that was in stock. I didn't want to wait until later in the year

Exactly the same spec I went for although mine is a 330i. The blue looks beautiful, can't wait for mine!

there was never any other colour considered - the wife insisted on Blue !!

It will be a compromise spacewise - it's replacing a Skoda Kodiaq 7 seater. But it wasn't bought for practicality

I still have an old MKII Skoda Superb Combi which is going well with 400,000km on the clock and that will be for the dogs and lugging stuff around.

My dealer has emailed to tell me my 330e, ordered 29th Jan, has a build slot at the end of June with delivery expected at the beginning of August, not too bad as I was expecting an even bigger delay.

Mine, ordered end November, I believe started production today. Should have be mid end July. Fingers crossed.
