I discovered today that you can't fold down the rear seats from inside the cabin. You can only do this by opening the boot and pulling on the rear seat release lever(s).

Except for the middle seat. You can fold down the middle seat from inside to open up what is commonly known as the 'ski hatch'. But of course, you can't open the 'ski hatch' from within the boot - obvs.

Now I don't own a pair of skis and have yet to have the pleasure of wanting to get a fence post home from Wickes, but if I did, I would probably want to load them/it in through the boot; unlike the child seat that lives in the back and - on this occasion - I wanted to quickly pop into the boot so that adults could get in, while it was raining.

Why is the cabin temperature display sometimes white and sometimes red?

Is it not to do with day/night controlled by light sensor or lights?

Yes. White during the day and orange at night (or when the light sensor turns on your lights).

That makes sense, thanks. I should have been able to figure it out for myself really.

You're welcome Matt ;-)

Now feel free to chime in about how you can't open the seats from within the cabin... ha ha!

But the old orange ones are not speed limits - only recommendations. Speed limits require a red circle to be mandatory - with the exception of the National Speed Limit (for some reason).

I'm sure I read that the run-in was supposed to be 1200 miles? Or do you mean the 500 miles completed your 1200?

Discovered opening and closing windows from the remote on the car today. Assumed it wouldn't do that despite having it on my last 2 Golfs. A really handy feature in this weather

Yesterday I found the rear centre seat belt clip sits almost in the middle of one of the back seats (as opposed to in a little gap next to the other one). Putting in a child seat meant it squashes the belt clip into the bottom leather of back leather. Also a rear passenger just gets it in their lower back/bottom.... surprised by this design!? Quite poor imo.

However, on a plus, also found that mine in sports plus mode gives you lots of pops and crackles when revving..... just assumed it wouldn’t from what a lot of others have said, so nice surprise
