BMW apparently hit a sweet spot with Cape York Green; bringing it to an additional model after X1 and 5.

For real. It may end up being an i6 perhaps?

Sadly for me, the M Sports Seats weren't available in USA through MY24. That's the only option I wish was available for my M50.

To be fair, even my 2019 B58 has an Ottopartikelfilter.

I am not sure they need to hide such a thing at this point.

That’s because you are in Germany.BMW’s in Europe have had the particulate filter for quite a few years now.The current B58 in the 3 series and 4 series in the US and Canada don’t have the particulate filter. So this is a huge change for the MY25 model year if you like a great sounding exhaust.

It's not a huge difference. Most stock B58 exhausts are muted anyways.

Very well summarised! These downgrades are beyond imagination! 🤢

So you are telling me my 2022 m440x GC has a better sounding exhaust than this upcoming LCI?

The Otto Particle Filter definitely reduces the exhaust sound so most likely your MY22 will sound better then the new LCI.The only way to confirm that is to wait for someone to take delivery of the new M440i Coupe LCI which started production in March. It has the same updated B58 engine that the GC LCI is going to be getting. Some dealers might actually have one in stock now.A simple google search shows some dealers already have one in stock but that could be showing an incoming unit.

These updated aesthetics have improved on the 4-series but still not my cup-o-joe. I can see them selling well though, stealing away more Audi and Lexus customers.
