Biggest Tire Size

BIMMERPOST
     Featured on BIMMERPOST.com
Hello everyone I'm back with more questions lol..
My m340 was equipped with the " 19 791M" wheels. Are these wheels staggered or 8 inch all around ?
Also what tire set up would work? Only planning on swapping the rears .. 245/40 255/35 ...etc?
I just feel like those 225's are too small

You can check if their staggered yourself. If the rear tires are 255's and different than the front tires then you have a staggered setup.

Just look at the numbers on the front and back tires to see what setup you have. If you have the 225's all around then you might have to swap the back wheels and the tires to go bigger.

Sounds like you most likely have the 8inch wheels. Like others said, if you have 255/ on the back, then you have staggered. The widest you can go with 8inch wheels are 245. Even that could be risky..one tire shop refused to do 245/40 and suggested 235/40.

I think I'm better off just getting wider wheels. I'm currently running 225's on all four corners. -_-

rrfitness20 ,

As others have suggested, it is an easy matter to check by reading sidewall of tires

I suspect that your car has a staggered setup. My car has 791M rims and came with Pirelli PZero (RFT):
• Front: 225/40 R19.
• Rear: 255/35 R19

Will replace with Michelin A/S 3+ (or 4+) (non-RFT)

Hop that helps
