I also noticed when I was playing a song with high amount of bass, I feel like I heard that same rattle coming faintly through the centre speaker... really light amount...

I am starting to experience a "WebMD effect" from reading this thread. I start hearing noises I've never heard before after reading them.

Haha first I heard of this webMD affect, I usually try to ignore what people say I love this car and it feels so nice to drive but everywhere I go on this forum is people trashing it saying it's lifeless and no fun to drive...

Getting pretty upset with my rattly backbox, squeaky front suspension and rattly front speaker. Ruins the new car feeling. My 14y old 21000km Volvo has less rattles tbh.

1500 miles now and I'm also starting to hear some squeaking coming from the rear. Suspecting it's the trunk seals. I've got a can of rubber lubricant so I'll try to fix on my own this weekend.

I spent hours today trying to identify what sounds like a screw being shaken in a narrow plastic prescription bottle. I removed the license plate, folded the seats down, secured the rear seat release cables, and drove around and it seems to come from the left rear. I also dampened the rear seat cupholders just to make sure. I will try to find someone that can drive my car with me sitting in the back to pinpoint the rattle.

I think I found my problem. I drove in the parking lot with the trunk open and there is no rattle. I will adjust the trunk tmrw and add some felt tape to the trunk locking ring to see if that fixes the issue.

Thanks.
So, the problem is with both versions.

So the rubber does not seem to be my problem. I laid down some cloth like suggested above but the rattle persisted. I added some fuzzy side of a velcro tape which reduced the noise by 90%. I will improve the wrap, drive around and post updates.

The rattle is gone but the squeak remains. Atleast it is very rare and only noticed it on speed bumps. Please note that if you have the power tailgate, the tape can interfere with the opening and closing mechanism. Try to make it as low profile as possible for it to work. I will order some felt tape tonight.

Maybe cloth would help with squeaks. |
