Yes! The rest of the package is irrelevant to me if this newfangled grill turns out awful.

The sedan/coupe staggered launch is irritating because with my lease termination timing I'll be stuck with the G20 for 3 years while the obviously much better looking G22 is out.

It's obvious this will look stunning as compared to the G20.

I am very interested to see how different the G22 will be from the G26.

I really wanted something special out of the 4 GC before and it just didnt live up to anything, where the 6GC and now the 8GC was beautiful the 4GC was just boring and generic.

I think it would be a huge hit if the 4GC looks as hot as the 6GC use to look.

interesting...looks a little like a mix of A5 fenders and 8 series rear...new grills should add a dimension to all this.

They’d better not keep the hood line in the middle of nowhere like the F-Series....

Waiting for the return of 3 box design. This derivative "sleek" stuff is so uninteresting.

BMW fixed this with the G20 so hopefully that holds true for the G22 as well.

The C Class coupe wasn't as great as everyone made it out to be. It wasn't mini S-Class coupe as people made it out to be. The S Class coupe though was gorgeous.

The G20 and G22 will essentially be the same car. You can bet on the hood line being fixed.

Looks like a baby 8, hopefully the new vertical grills won't be "too polarizing" but they likely will be.

What's interesting with these pics is that the ACC sensor is in a giant "hole" underneath the license plate bracket which we were told would bi-sect the large grills. Now I'm curious... do the grills just stop at the plate bracket if the car is optioned with ACC? I really can't tell what's going on from this angle. The top of the grills can be seen here which makes sense but I can't figure out the rest just yet.

Yep, I agree. I'm 99% sure it'll be fixed. With the wildcard being the new grille.

No kidding! I would go buy an F82 if it looks ugly but fingers crossed.

I wonder if we would see an official or concept reveal before July next year?

I hope so too as I really want this to be the replacement for my F82.
Fingers crossed the M4C will be a hit just based on these photos.

I am looking at that mule as one that is missing the lower portion of the design to hide it, we have seen from the M3 mules the offset ACC sensor and the outline of the continued grill in the lower section

But hey, at least the tailights have a bit more character than the g30 3 series.
I have never had a person sit in the back of my current 4 series so slope away!

Good thinking, I forgot about this w/ the G80 mules.

The hood line never bothered me personally, and I didn't miss the wrap-around-connected-to-the-front-grills hood design of previous generations....

...especially when you're working under the hood a lot and getting the occasional stab in the back of the head from the grill portion of the hood.

This does look promising. Are the tail lights the same as the G20? If they are then fail. I don't think I'll ever grow into that rear end.
