Android Auto Question
Hi All,
Question......is there a way of stopping the car notifying me on start up of the fact Android Auto is available as my phone connects to the car? It's annoying and I can see a way of stopping it. I hate having an outstanding notification on the screen Cheers |

Had this recently when I got a new phone. I only use my phone as a phone in the car.
I found that if you go to Car \ Settings \ General Settings \ Mobile Devices and select your phone there is an option to connect to AA. Select that and after a think it will give you 2 options of (can't remember the exact words but something like) "unlock your phone to continue setup" or "don't connect to this phone again". Select the 2nd option and you should then be fixed. This is for ID7 by the way. HTH.

Ah....thanks very much........
I can remember seeing that option but when I select it, it then says only available with linked key! I don't use the digital key on the app etc, so will have to investigate this bit further...... |

I also meant to say that you could in the App on your phone under App Permissions change the Nearby Devices setting to don't allow. When messing about I found that also worked.
