Need a favour (involves measuring)

Hi everyone,

ive got a private plate of 6 characters and want to fit short plates to my G20 that's coming.
its will be fine on the rear im guessing but on the front does it have a plastic area for the number plate like on the f30 or is it going directly into the bumper?

thanks guys

Ahhh that makes me cringe putting screws straight in , looks like a no go on the front then because I'll see the screw holes

Maybe you can ask your dealer to put the front plate using double sided tape? I used tape at the front and back on standard size aluminum pressed plates. The original ones were screwed straight in at the front. I hate the look of the screw caps.

Garage List
I asked my dealer to fit the plates using double sided tape, made sure it was done at PDI, wasn't a problem and the small plate looks great

Mine was screwed straight into the bumper at the front - Mortified as I can't put short plates on now!

Had no choice as it's a company car!
