I think so from what I am seeing. It is getting better and now the timeline is 2-4 months depending on the location.

Yep, I've noticed that the Technology Plus pack is also available on the 420 and 430 models now, where just last month it was only available on the 440 (in the UK).

Yeah I feel you. I'm cautiously optimistic about my timeline; many US customers were dealing with similar issues as you earlier this year. Hoping it speeds up for you!

The only way to be certain is to call.

But I strongly suspicion that would be on the Grand Legacy, which left Port Lazaro Cardenas yesterday. There's been significant reporting from Genius that this ship is going to be delayed into Port Hueneme due to a detour to the East Coast... but I don't think Genius has their data right. My best guess is that your car would arrive in Port Hueneme on 10/17, and be processed at the VPC before trucking up to the bay area.

But those are all guesses. Call Genius with your production number and they might be able to shed light.

I went to production begins Sept 15 with a build date of Sept 24th. You can call genius and they will give you the build dates. My car actually went into assemble the day before.

I called Genius and he couldn't tell me when it would start but he did say production was scheduled to be completed by Oct 24th.

just called genius. I went production begins on 10/10 and Genius just told me estimated completed (build) date is 10/20.

Now it's in Ready For Transport status. It was in Final Assembly status for about 4 days.

Yes and typically that is why I ended up ordering the 440i in September 🙄, but I’ve decided to continue with the order though, because I’ve set my mind on having the better engine.
