Hi,

I have a 2021 430i B48 G22 with a wired OBD connecter that can goto my iPhone or MacBook.

I want to add a burble tune or something to add some depth to the exhaust without heavily modifying it.
(I don't want to void the warranty, and I want it something that I can easily revert to stock before I bring it in to the dealer).
I am aware of the risks.
What are my options? I was looking at MHD flasher... can I use this? Or what other apps out there work for what I am trying to do?

Anything past 6/20 needs to be femto unlocked. Find a tune shop to do that and then u can use mhd. Id recommend for more options and better tuning go for bm3(bootmod3)

You need to send your DME to Femto in Finland to get it unlocked, then use bootmod3 to flash the car and increase the burble.

Other ways to slightly increase the burble sound is adding a high flow downpipe

If your looking for someone to unlock the DME KIES Motorsports is pretty quick with doing it. I did have to ship my DME to them and they’re super quick with shipping it back. Once it arrived to them they shipped it out within the same day and I had it back the following day.

unless you are local to them and you need them to unplug the dme, it does not make a lot of sense to send your dme to someone so they can send it to femto.

you can send the dme to femto directly

wait so every car manufactured after 6/20 needs to be unlocked? i have a 2021 BMW 430i in the united states so would I have to get that unlocked as well even tho I was planning on running a jb4?

no need to unlock the DME if you are using the JB4

the unlock is needed only when you are getting a flash tune
