Yeah build sheet does show GLSPOA and the geniuses told me it was Glovis Spirit. I also believe the ship is heading further North because that makes the most sense.

I suppose stranger things have happened?
That's so strange!

agreed lol

In any case the ship is behind schedule again. Its ETA in Brunswick was supposed to be this morning at 5 AM EST. And it looks like its still 3 or 4 hours out by my estimate

Did you subscribe to satellite tracking? I've been considering doing a free trial

Yeah I have the fleetmon free trial but then use the vesselfinder distance tool because it lets you add multiple points, then I look at their current speed (1 knot = 1 nautical mile per hour) to get an ETA

I called Genius' again and they expect the boat to be to Baltimore on the 15th. I'd think Baltimore is their next stop, unless there's a port or two between Brunswick and Baltimore and I don't know about.

Glovis spirit is leaving Brunswick and headed to Jacksonville. Which adds a little to the confusion of the route ..

Did they give you an ETA for Galveston? I can't quit thinking about how weird this is

No the person I talked to today basically said she doesn't have an ETA for me. Seems like it all depends on who you get on the phone whether they will tell you all the details or not.

So strange - I wonder if it has something to do with the queue at each port? E.g. it could actually be more efficient if Brunswick can be an in-and-out stop which it seemed to be vs. Jacksonville which may have required anchoring like the Altamira wait?

Yeah I had no idea it was ever going to Jacksonville. Even Brunswick it didn't get in super fast, it had to do a figure 8s like 30 miles off the coast for about 8 hours before it went into port

To add a little more confusion to the mix lol, I just called for an update and found out I'm actually scheduled to be unloaded in CHARLESTON on the 12th (expected arrival at least, which fills in the gap at least).

I assumed they would unload the Performance Center Delivery cars at Brunswick if that was the SE stop, but I guess Charleston makes sense (my original port on the build order was Baltimore which I thought was even stranger).

I realize how crazy lucky I am with the order placed -> production start, had a fantastic dealer who just did a last minute swap with my build for their first available allocation.

In a perfect world, I would have been able to add the Adaptive Suspension and Parking Assistance Package, but not an option at all when I placed my order.
Congrats, you ordered that at just the right time!

That seems more likely to me as well. Even though its still a wacky route...
I do not see the Glovis Spirit on the schedle at Charleston (yet)

So they cruise right past Baltimore where mine is supposed to be unloaded. Genius said it should be to Baltimore on the 15th. None of this makes sense. 🙄

Maybe they will make a stop on the way back. I’m wondering if they are doing this to save wait time at each port?
