Indeed, according to the dealer everything is on schedule to be delivered end of April. Could be that it will sit in Mexico for a while waiting for shipping to be available.

Ordered my M340i G21 with a pretty extensive addons selection. Excited to see that deliveries are making their way through quicker than some other brands. Sad to find the 50th M badges had gone from the configurator by the time it went from Quote to Order.

My car has already left Veracruz and it's on its way to bremerhaven.

Estimated delivery end or March beginning or April.

I got an insighst today that there no production planned yet, at all, for the 2023 G21 TOURING... I wonder if we can fact-check this?

Order accepted by BMW = 28 NOV, still in status 111 ("order booked with quota"), and expected DD October 2023... For **** sakes....

Hi All,

Im completely confused by the whole production timescales.....

I ordered my 320d Msport in mid September.
I was informed that my schedule build date, was week commencing 13th February which i last checked on 23rd January.
On this date i was also informed that delivery would be around 6th March.

I spoke with the Genius Team today and i was informed that i am now at code 190 with a delivery date week commencing 27th February- not sure how accurate this is?

Code 190 is “In transit to port of exit” so it seems about right as an estimate. A lot depends on the schedules of the vehicle carriers.

I don’t think you are going to find a source of information better than the BMW Genius Team. They have more up to date info than the online tracking available in the US.
Why are you questioning their accuracy?

Only reason i question this, is based on the information they have provided...

Contacted today 14th February and told it is built. Therefore this means that the car has been built and in transit between those dates?

I have managed to get my VIN and that states build date 10th February, so that would mean the Genius Team are actually incorrect?

Most liked it was pushed forward than the original build date . It happened to me. Genius told me I was scheduled for early February and the car was completed 10/01/2023.

I'm concerned if this is the case. I've been at status 111 since end of December '22 with an estimated delivery in May '23. G21 M340i Touring.

Trying to track my car with varried success.

I was informed that my car was on its way to port, two days ago and when asked what port i was told Cuxhaven.

Today, i was informed that at a port and waiting to be placed on a vessel but unable to tell me anything more.

So after some time trying to look at ships i found none leaving Cuxhaven.

Yet if it helps anyone else i did find two ships currently docked in Bremerhaven.......

Tulane (ship name) currently docked and due to arrive at Southampton @ 5am on 18th February
Neptune Ace (ship name) again docked and due to arrive at Southampton @10am on 20th February

And the new production date is 15.04, more than 10 months. There is no delivery date specified.

There is anyone in the same situation? Can I do something?

Sorry to say but welcome to the club. The lead times are now over 10 months for G21s for all engines and plug-in’s…

A friend of mine who works at a BMW dealership confirmed they plan higher specced cars and engines first after lower specced cars.. sad but true

What would be the status code when it’s on the boat to Europe?
