Wait a couple more weeks till you can see what the 2025 changes will include, then make your decision from there. CPO LCI could be a good value option however.

So the 2023 models had a refresh (you can compare 2020-2022 vs 2023-2024 for differences). So the other user is suggesting you may find some CPOs of the 2023-2024 models, and maybe some decent pricing. The 2025 will have another refresh. This includes the B58 TU2 (technical upgrade) engine, supposedly would feature new head unit that supports iDrive 8.5 and some cosmetic changes inside and out. |

Certified Used 2021 BMW 3 Series M340i $45,881 | 22,076 mi but this 2021 I went to BMW dealer yesterday they did say they have 2024 new for 63k. Is 15k worth the 3 year model difference? My friends do tell me to buy CPO instead to save money.. Kinda confused which route to take here |

2024 vs. 2023 [LCI - ID8 curved dash]
- HK stereo better tuned. Sounds better than previous MYs - Airbag no longer stitched leather which is a shame - On-screen climate controls (some hate it) 2022 and older [pre-LCI ID7] - Some might be missing features due to chip shortage - Louder exhaust 2020 June and older - unlocked ECU - Louder exhaust with burbles |

1 other consideration that I agonized over:
Leather vs Sensatec synthetic seats Sensatec seats are perforated but don't have bolster adjustments. Sensatec is more comfortable but very lacking in support if you're not a wide person. You will get tossed around a bit with spirited driving or tracking. |

I opted for new, but because I wanted the adaptive suspension, driver assist professional package, and hk surround sound I ended up with a custom build. I think you should list out the features you can get CPO and what’s new (and available). And then determine if the differences are worth it. |

Adaptive suspension was a must have for me though will be hard to find used as most dealers don't spec their stock with it for some reason, likely to keep list price lower. It's not that pricey of a option too.
This car rides firm, even worse with RFT, so having the ability to go softer at the touch of a button is nice. It's the "wife in car" button for me basically. Quote:

Yeah if you want something with all the features you want that might be the viable route. The used market is still competitive IMO.
My strategy when buying new is message at least 3 SAs and ask them for a quote out-the-door. I make it clear that I'm talking to all 3 and that I'll go with the dealership that comes back with the lowest deal for my spec. I'm not sure if incentives are back but perhaps others can chip in. |
