This statement is more loaded than your housekeeper that keeps losing her drawers! Regardless of what I say, it will back fire. I think, rather than dig the hole any deeper, I shall just make a comment about your housekeeper and slowly walk away.

Know when to hold em, and know when to fold em, know when to walk away eh?

Well done, I knew you were a smart one. I always enjoy toying with people, sometimes it elicits responses like these which I appreciate for their intelligent insight into what could happen should they bite, and other times I get responses which are truly hilarious. Rarely am I disappointed.

Life can be viewed as a giant chess game in a great number of aspects.

I learned long ago, in some instances it's just best to walk away. I can remember my martial arts instructor telling me, "If you don't like being hit, don't be there when the punch is thrown."

Then we'd fight over which one is the prettiest, while making derogatory comments about each other's sexual orientation and promiscuity of each other's mothers, all while having a blast.

I'll be your secretary, if I can drive your X6. I'd even chauffeur you around.
So, my normal response is no one drives my car, ever, except my brother. He drives a B7 so I trust him.

Being this is a car forum and you guys are enthusiasts, I guess you should be allowed. Except Joekerr He gets the privilege of being my passenger And I'm not touching the #metoo either.

And UncleWede gets to be my pool boy.

Didn't even take it. I may if I have time tomorrow. And if it is low, I'll post it anyway. I'd think it was hilarious if the men beat me.

Any device is allowed, but post what device you used. Ex. 85 WPM (standard keyboard, iPhone, iPad, etc).
This is for typists. What about "6) Recite the fable you've just typed"? Is there any meaning/sense in what you type or does it matter not?

Fast typing looks a useless skill unless it's all you're good for. "It is of no use to possess a lively wit if it is not of the right proportion: the perfection of a clock is not to go fast, but to be accurate." (Luc de Clapiers, marquis de Vauvenargues)

"But that's not what it means." Well, actually this can be read as "Stay away from trouble." which is wise. But it could also just emphasize the ultimate importance of footwork which (reportedly) Chinese tell a master by.

Sorry.

I'm getting slow.

In 9th grade, I took typing class and on the first day the teacher had me at 120 wpm and kicked me out of the class.

desktop computer.

not sure if the two errors are me double spacing after the period near the beginning. Old habit.

Well, of everyone here you address I happened to post twice on the topic so it's tempting to clarify that even though I've posted too much here already.

There's absolutely nothing wrong in high performance provided the quality doesn't suffer. It's just when you do understand what you are typing the speed isn't really important (unless it slows you down too much, like you forget the entire sentence struggling to type in the beginning of it ). The essence is.

It's better to strive for the best. If primitive things exhaust your capability it's all right, just do your best whatever it is. But if you can excel beyond, "don't concentrate on the finger":

.

And "don't think" as it may cause obstacle to succeeding where you don't really need that thinking. I don't remember which movie, an AA says to another AA (my backward translation): "Don't think. it's white men's illness.".

102 words per minute
1 error
101 words per minute 'adjusted speed'

I've been a fast typer ever since I can remember. I initially thought it was just because I was younger (and mainly older people would tell me this), but then I started realizing my friends weren't as quick as me.

It's kind of one of those odd things that you're good/excel at that no one would ever guess (everyone has things like that), but doesn't really fit you as a person. I don't work in IT or anything related to computers.

I do have to chart and double chart/document quite a bit in the medical field which doesn't hurt I suppose.

cmyx6go results appear to be notoriously absent...I admit I'm curious. And we know you spend an inordinate amount of time on these forums...spare two minutes.

Actually....come to think of it...the person I really want to take this test is Lups!! Can you imagine the beauty of it? I figure the score would be something like 95 WPM, with 94 errors, adjusted speed of 1 WPM.

Inordinate amount of time? 1100 posts over 4 years? I lurk more than post. I am addicted though. I find myself leaving it open and popping back and forth in between real work. I'll get to it.
