I had placed an order from the factory, but I ended up finding something on a lot. Although in Dallas, not HOU. I expect to obtain the IRA tax credit and this model will be dropping off the approved list on April 18.

My first BMW and I'm pumped! I became well acquainted on the drive back to HOU.

Welcome to the forum. It was expected to not meet either of the battery requirements however with the way the IRS interpreted the law it may qualify for half credit. We should find out on Monday.

LTG TurtleBoy is correct, and the eligibility rules change on Monday. That's why I jumped on this one, which was close enough to my custom spec and satisfied the IRS timeline.

Also, the last pic is taken from a portal to Australia where everything is upside-down. Don't ask me how that works :-D

The original expectation was accurate, the 330e will no longer be eligible for any portion of the EV credit.
