I could understand that different versions may be applicable to different variants of the cars, but another user on here with an M340i like mine is now at Version 03/2022.71 (mine’s still at 07/2021.40).

Ah ok! That’s answered my question if the updates are for like for like models then that’s understandable.
I think I was comparing say an M340i with maybe a 330e with regard to updates.

I’m not too bothered because, as far as I am aware, there aren’t any problems with my car that would call for an upgrade. I just think that if BMW want to trumpet these “advanced” features, they should make sure they work!

Totally agree with you on both counts!
It seems too often these days that in their quest to always be at the forefront of technology when they come up with some of these brilliant ideas I often wonder what checks and balances are applied?
Or to put it in a more relatable way 'sometimes it's best to first of all take one step back rather than two forward only to find yourself standing in a puddle of sh*t wearing sandals'? ...

It seems that the dealer has updated the car OK this time and it now matches BMW ...

Although I suspect there was an issue with the MyBMW app which is why they have removed the "installed version" from the latest update..

I did email BMW to confirm they now have it as being on 07/2022.45 which they have confirmed not 07/2020.54 they way they have confirmed is odd but appears right lol

They are correct, 22-07-545 is the latest ilevel for the Gxx cars, which came out late last week with ISTA+ 4.37.20.

The latest Remote Software Update is still 22-03-562 though, the 22-07 branch hasn't been made available over the air yet

Thats good to know it is the latest, just glad now all systems seem to match rather than the car saying one and BMW saying another lol
