Nice setup !!! Congrats !!! Personally wish I go with carbon buckets but now at least my ass is ventilated.

Good job with the overal spec. You will have blast. And start thinking about next mods… if you are on this forum it will not last long before you desire more … like low 10s for 1/4mil.

Since this is your first BMW, maybe you don’t know this, so I’ll point it out: The BMW Ultimate Care+ package is NOT an extended warranty (you can buy the extended warranty later, or even at the time of purchase). The Ultimate Care+ packages are basically pre-paid oil changes, brake pads, wiper blades and such. After the 3 years of free Ultimate Care are over, what you paid for kicks in. You can get oil changes at the dealer, but there are plenty of shops that service BMW/Porsche/Merc that will do the oil changes cheaper.

Thanks much for pointing that out. That slipped by me. I know from other car extended warranties. That you should shop around to get the best price. And no 3rd party warranties. Strictly the manufacturer extended warranties. And it's cheaper to buy them when you first buy the car. Do you have any recommendations. Where to get the best price? And what they cost? Thanks!

Extended warranties and protection plans are all almost certainly not worth it. You'll end up paying more money over the life of the plan than it would cost to address anything later out of pocket.

Do not buy any of the extended care plans, warranties the finance guy tries to sell you when you purchase the car. they make huge profits on them and are almost always not worth the money you spent.

Depends on where you live, what your driving style is and how fragile the tires are.

I’m keeping the car 7-8 years. Most definitely considering extending the warranty. (It ain’t a Toyota)

Yes. They will attempt to sand and buff it first. But it’s not an automatic rim replacement.

And is there a deductible for damage to either the wheels or tires?

check the dedicated ordering threads for your build week and find out when others are shipping. You may need to look it up yourself. You need to understand what port your car is coming into, and look up those schedules on the K Line, NYK line and Wallenius Wilhelmsen websites under scheduling. That will tell you when you have a chance in getting off.

I set up a poll for people in the second quarter of the year and later wait time here you can view. It could be multiple weeks. I was there 5. Over a week is still barely getting to the average wait time.
