Hi, Anyone with a LCI know is there is 12v socket still in the car (boot or passenger foot well)?

I know there are two type c ports in the rear, looking to power a dash cam which needs a 12v socket.

Not what you asked as I don't have an LCI but with suitable cable(s) I powered mine from the rear USB. Less in the way than a cigarette lighter plug, which is mainly a voltage converter.

Yes it does. Definitely one in the front centre console area I can confirm.

I feel your pain as I wondering if mine would reach. The dashcam comes with a 'cig lighter' size plug so USB's are of no help. The front cig socket is under the lid so it would never close with the plug sticking up plus the plug would get in the way. I have a 21 Touring and luckily the cable is long enough to run from the socket in the boot area all the way to the front top of windscreen

It is pretty simple to hard wire dashcams and there are many posts showing which empty fuse sockets to use for etc. Much neater than having it plugged in to a 12v socket

Dashcams are usually USB devices. The 12V plug is a voltage converter. On previous (4GC X3) there was a rear seat cigarette socket which I used.
