Do you use Bimmerlink to open the exhaust valve.
If you do, does the valve stay open permanently after you close the App and remove the OBD II adapter?

On mine, I set the iDrive menu to Sporty and it stays on that setting permanently.
If you start the car from cold, it sounds like the valve is closed initially, but after about 5 seconds you hear it open. |

Isn't that with Bimmercode? I've got mine set with Bimmercode, I was just interested to know whether with Bimmerlink the valve stays open when the App is closed, the OBD II adapter has been removed and the ignition switched off.

I have an OBD and bimmerlink and it only stays open if you open the app after you start the car. As soon as you turn the ignition off or if you remove the OBD device then the valve will close again. As far as I'm aware the only way to have it permanently open is to open it via the app then disconnect the valve controller on the exhaust. I may be wrong but that's my experience of using it. Unless I'm missing something.
