Looks better in the videos I think. It’s a bit goofy up front for sure but not a deal breaker. I think in black it’ll be fine, grill is large but so is the rest of the car, and it’s low. Interior is beautiful, that roof is sweet. Would be interested if it leases well.

I just don't understand BMW designers... It's like they have a different group of designers for the rear and a totally different team designing the front, and the two teams don't talk to each other.

The rear is actually pretty good looking, has some elegant curves. The front is a mismatch of curves and straight edges that don't blend together at all.

I came, I saw and left..... it is meh. Nothing to get excited about. Moving on but I will leave with this

BMW couldn't get anything wrong leading up to the current generation in vehicles. There were a few missed turns and they stumbled but nothing to get hot and bothered, now it is failing more (particularly in the design department). Their designs are just not exciting. It is bland or crap. And I have to force myself to like them.

My 0.02.

Everything looks really nice, as it should besides for the...

Negative Design Elements:
The seats 💺 quilting looks really odd and cheap.
The strange rectangle hole below the head rest.
The unnecessary fake large fuggly kidney grills.
Clear plastic crystal controls.
Crystal shifter.

Obviously the curve screen looks awesome, but it would've been much nicer if it the screen was integrated in the dashboard and not just jetting out at the driver and passenger.

I would've liked to seen the BMW Roundel logo on the rear quarter panel like on the X2, that is a nice old-school design element that looks great and I love.

But kudos to BMW for finally making the iX EV!

Wow, I like it! Granted I'm on my 3rd i3 and it's actually one of the best daily drivers I have ever had, and this being basically a beefed up version of the i3, I'm very excited. The range is just right, I love that there are a lot of i3 touches in both the interior and exterior, it's a nice evolution. I'm sad to see that the carbon fiber monocoque is gone, but it was cost prohibitive.

Personally, I was a bit disappointed with the ix3 so this is a huge sigh of relief that bmw will have an i3 replacement when my current i3 lease is up.

It's comical at this point man. I feel like the new guy has some personal beef with BMW and secured the job to ruin the brand.

I second that!
I'm on my second i3 and love it's space and easy of use.
IX will be in the same ballpark, looks excellent and exciting!
The range, battery and specs are usually downplayed by BMW, as their 0-100 times.
The interiour is gorgeous, love it!!

However, here they seem to be aggressively setting the tone from the start of the press release that this is an all-new architecture. It'll be interesting to learn more details.
Is it already known whether an M version of this vehicle is planned?

Likely an S version. M is for Motorsports and you can't charge these at most tracks.
