Transport Mode & Parking Brake

Hi All

Been reading the forums for a while and thought id share my story and ask a question.

I received my 330e M Sport at the beginning of July (Ordered Dec 19) coming for a Mercedes C Class 350E

All was well, i did notice that when in drive or reverse the car didn't slowly pull away when i removed my foot from the brake like the 350E did but thought nothing of it.

Last week jumped in the car to head to work and i had a drive train error come up and then a battery safety warning. Called out BMW assist who informed me the car had been left in transport mode and thats whats caused this error and that he has now taken it out of transport mode.

Since then all has been fine and now when taking my foot off the brake the car creeps forward as per the 350E.

The only down side is now the parking brake seems "looser" is maybe the word, so when parking on a hill and putting the parking brake on theres a noticeable roll maybe a centimetre but enough to make you jump.

Is this common on your cars at all or should i get it booked in?

Cheers in advance

Marcus
