I had the same problem and the cause was the car battery not being fully charged.

Mine appeared stuck, but then I realised what the issue was.

Car must have the engine running. You must be connected to the BMW car WiFi (even if not active or set up) it must be selected.
You will the see things move again as I did.

Now the transfers completed I’ve just locked the car and left it installing. Shame still no android auto tho......
Will check back in half hour and see what pops up, doesn’t sound like any major changes have been made.

Just checked, all updated, all good...... but..... looks exactly the same lol.

Can’t see this widget BMW voice update, that still responds and looks the same, can’t find the daytime running lights button to turn on/off either?
Maps look the same also, so overall can’t say anything has changed that I can clearly identify. Not sure if anyone else has noticed anything or not?

Think it might take a day or two for things to appear, I've not got Spotify available yet.
Update: just looked, Spotify has appeared but no sign of rear DRL's.

Don’t see why it would take a day or two? The update has been done. I had Spotify already, just had to sign back in.
DRL I only looked for as it mentioned it was part of the update, clearly not lol

I thought the DRL was only on 07.2020 update? I went from 11.2019 to 07.2020 - DRL only came up on 07.2020.

Try resetting iDrive (volume for 70 seconds, restarts twice) and updating apps.

The DRL's are definitely mentioned in the 11.2019 release notes. I'm relieved it wasn't just me that got confused by the traffic thing!

The only update appears to be 11.2019 so although it states that is a feature, clearly it’s not in this update.

It appears M340 owners appear to have 07.2020. Not sure if that was direct from dealer as opposed to OTA update.

My guess is 07.2020 isn’t available as an OTA, only through a dealership.

It's correct terminology, albeit confusing. You drive on the left in UK / Australia etc.

While colloquially we might call it "right hand drive", it's not an accurate term because that only means "steering wheel on right", not where you drive. In this instance because if left hand drive cars came visiting the UK, the lights have to be set up to be on the UK side of the road, i.e. left hand traffic, so you don't blind people coming they other way.

They just want to say that irrespective of whichever side your steering wheel is on, what side do you actually drive on so we can ensure the lights don't blind people.

It is strange. OTA seems to only be 11.2019 at the moment. Those with 07.2020 have been updated by dealer which is what happened to me during some warranty work.

Since updating to 07.2020 I've noticed the light symbol is on the dash. When I turn off rear DRL setting, it goes. Defo wasn't like that before the update.

Updated mine this morning. Noticed that fold mirrors on lock was working again. This worked for a while before but then stopped for some reason

My 2019 320i has just had the OTA update and I was hoping that it might have solved my Apple carplay problems, but no! It still connects as and when it feels like it. Does anyone else have this problem or found a solution? It's been back to the dealers and they say it works fine!

As far as I've heard the newest update will remove the digital key for Android for iOS' digital key.

I completed an OTA Update to 11/2019.70 yesterday and noticed that coding for Assisted Driving View remained but coding for Lane Change Assist was removed.

Anyone else notice this and can it be re-coded or has that option been completely removed?

One thing I noticed is it seems to fill up the mobile devices with duplicates when mine doesn't connect. I have an iphone, watch and two ipads on my Apple ID and it seems to register the connections to multiple copies of each. I delete the duplicates and it works fine again until the duplicates appear.

Assumed it was an apple issue where it shares the WiFi info across devices.
