Our 3/2019 build M340i xDrive does 0-60 in 3.7 seconds every single time with launch control. If you're getting slower times you're not letting boost build.

Haven't raced from a dig since it's pointless with RWD vs AWD, but from any sort of roll my F8X pulls bus lengths every single time. Pointless comparison as both cars are STUPID FAST and are hilarious drivers cars, yet fill entirely different purposes!

That thing is fast and interior is nice, but why did BMW give them Toyota headlights and Lexus taillights? I guess only fair since BMW gave Toyota iDrive and the B58.

We're just explaining why this video was made in a way to be intentionally misleading and "shocking" to get views. An 1/8mi drag race with an AWD automatic car vs a RWD manual car spinning its tires? That's not a race.

Let's just say if you're beating any M3 or M4 from a roll (real world situation), you're probably the only one who thinks you're racing.

You've literally making no sense . The video was of two cars engaging in a street race (in my book that's a race regardless of spinning and not being able to put the power down).

You've brought up drag strip at first and now roll racing, which neither was illustrated in this video.

Look this is becoming a waste of time. You are not making sense my friend, but your definitely making excuses - I will give you that.

Also, I would never buy a hellcat, but the G80 in AWD with a ZF tranny + torque converter would be a weapon!

Didn't buy this car for track racing that's what the Ducati is for. This is a everyday around the town - go see clients and close business car, but still be able to have a little fun!

The M performance cars are not track cars they are for professionals who want performance while enjoying cushy seats/tech. That said, we are speaking about two different consumer bud.

I will take the G80 tho!

I’ve seen videos of the M2 Comp beating it pretty solidly from a roll. It’s fast but it ain’t no M killer unless you mod it of course

I won't. No DCT and fugly grills = I'll keep my F80, especially since we have an M340i in the family! Don't care how much of a weapon the G80 is there is no place for a torque converter auto in an M car, let alone hideous grills.

IMO the M340i is the more attractive car over the G80. You can get ludicrous numbers out of an M340i with just a tune, downpipes, etc, AND be a sleeper.

Based on some of the comments here, Americans seem to believe the only redeeming qualities of a car are: automatic, AWD, and straight line speed.

I think the biggest issue with this car is that, for the (lease) money of a loaded M340i xDrive, you're in spitting distance of a loaded X3MC...that's an easy decision.
