How to turn off pop-up "tips"

Can anyone help me turn off those automatic tips that pop up on the screen? I see them most frequently whenever I change an AC setting and they wind up obscuring a portion of the directions in Google Maps. I cannot find a setting to turn them off. Can someone walk me through this? It's (i)driving me nuts.

Huh… I don’t get any pop-up tips. I don’t think I ever turned them off.

Open the notifications menu. Pull down your finger from the top of the CID touchscreen, go to notifications, setting on the right side and the third option from the top should be those. Just untick the box.

Thanks for this. I get these too and had no idea why/how to turn them off.

For those of us with MY 22' + that don't have the touchscreen, move the i-drive toggle up to pull up the notifications menu and de-select notifications.

What I'm trying to find is a way to turn off the popup that appears when I set my Seat memory (1 or 2). Anyone know?
