I guess all these pics of VWs with M colors have NOTHING to do with Martini Racing. You're an idiot.

you still haven't answered what I'm asking for. Find me one legit factory backed VW racecar with Martini Livery.

All you've done in this link is find more posers

Damn it. I just now found this amazing thread and hadn't realized until now that all I had to do was slap an //M badge on any old car! I wish I had seen this BEFORE I dropped all that cash on an actual M3!

Wow, that piping is the shyt! Is that OEM or after market? I called my local stealership and the SA couldn't find it and asked me for the part numbers...

Well, it's clearly Canadian. I'm afraid you'll have to run up to Vancouver to pick one up.

Your picture is like saying the #8 Starworks Oreca Chevy LMP car counts as well, and Chevys should have Martini livery too

When are people going to learn you don't phuck with THE Flying Ace? There's a reason that he's got 1,470 appreciations from forum members...if he says something, you can take it to the bank! $$$

PLUS he's too modest to share with forum members that he was the #1 most highly decorated flying ace from WWI And WWII...

This whole thread is about badging a car to look like an M car... the VW, no matter how you try to coat it, isn't trying to replicate anything related to BMW or the M brand. So on that front, yeah, I did win this argument because there's about a 1000% chance that VW was a nod to Martini Racing, not BMW M. Fini

I'm thinking of doing the opposite and removing my ///M3 badge from my car. Perhaps this will restore some balance to a chaotic universe.

Besides possibly looking cleaner, can you imagine the perplexed reaction of a fake ///M badged driver as you've casually discarded what they perceive as an elite, prestigious status symbol?

As new member to the M3 community here is my contribution to this thread. Noting that this disturbs me as I just came from a 335I but it never even crossed my mind once to put //M badges on.

Not that long ago saw this "M Power 335I" for sale on Craigslist and it was saved on my Photobucket:

And another gem from Craigslist:

This is quite common in Europe, and makes a lot of sense.

That one could be legitimate. BMW did sell an M750Li in 2016 and currently offers an M760Li for sale.
