Good to hear that the end of the year reveal that was floated for a while even by Flasch himself was wrong. September is a lot quicker, nice!

Strong work Thescout13 👍 How bout showing us M4 vert owners some love by also mentioning the G83? 😉. Makes my decision to hold tight for the G83 after my F83 status 111 order was cancelled by BMW NA eariler this month.

No amount of good news will get me hype for this car. I can't get over how ugly it will look.

Yeah.

I have no doubt this model will outperform the F8X generation in almost every respect.

But if I can't get past the way it looks, it's going to be a no dog for me.

That’s right, it was SOP he talked about not the reveal so no change really just another milestone confirmed

Cautiously optimistic. For those of us who want a manual German sports sedan, it’s our only choice.

It’s been over six years since I built my F80, I’m eager to start the process! I’ll sorely miss the euro delivery though, always such an event.

Here is my biggest concern. I am sure dynamically, the car will be better than the F8x platform. However, the design and looks may sink it. I remember when the F3x came out, people were fairly critical of the front headlights and grill. However, when the F8x was released, it was generally accepted with universal praise. I am not getting that feeling with the G8x. I hope I am wrong....for bmws sake.

The G80 is a bit of a question mark since it’s based on a car designed for a very different grill. The M4 on the other hand is designed from scratch around the new grill. I think both will look cool though

While I haven't loved the looks of every gen M3, I've at least liked them all. That is changing with the G8x though, as it is just appalling.

I was planning to buy a G80 M3 strictly because of European Delivery. Now I think I'll just keep my M2C.

...those seats are cool though.

I wish they'd confirm the G83 M4 Convertible in manual already!

It's the only car I can imagine replacing my tuned E88.
