Hey,
About 600 miles here. I was just getting on it today and it "didn't" seem as loud. When I get into my garage and rev, esp. in Sport + it does produce cool backfires (to me, lol). Now that you mention it did seem quieter on the road, but it's hard to tell. Interesting thought on the gas, I've put Shell in the past two times, wonder what the dealer used... When you say it's quieter, is this with windows down or up and radio off? I would like to get rid of any fake sound, but I don't notice it that much. I have had issues with my phone (iPhone X) connecting and the BMW connected app not working, but that is for another thread. Thanks |

Give it some time and I'm SURE BMW will build an MPPSK for the G20. Just not sure how long it will take.

Yeah I don't think there is an MPE for this car or power kit. From what I know it's basically included in the base m340i and reflected in the msrp.

I guess I should change my username
After 12 years my 2007 335i satellite radio went out. It was depressing driving with just AM/FM so when they did the blower motor recall repair two days ago, I test drove the xdrive M340i. Three hours later, I drove it home.
I hope the exhaust stays the way it is: yesterday in the parking garage here at work, I goosed it going up the ramps. It set off somebody's car alarm. I was pleasantly surprised. Yet if you put it in comfort mode it barely growls. Like it has multiple personalities. So much has changed in 12 years, there is little comparison to my e90 335i (still have it since the dealer offered $2500 yet it runs flawlessly except for its 144,000 miles and broken radio). Test drive it, you will want it. I highly recommend the vehicle. |

I'm at 1700 miles now. I was startled by some loud cracks from the exhaust at 4k RPM driving around the city today. The upshift 'barks' have gotten louder too. Seems like the exhaust is still breaking in but sounds good so far

MSRP was $68,300
it was loaded with black sapphire metallic paint, black leather, premium package, executive package, the driving assistance package, the driving assistance professional package, adaptive suspension, power tailgate, remote engine start, 19 inch alloy wheels, wireless charging, harmon kardon surround sound. Also the spinning hub cabs (the bmw label stays upright). the last option is gimmicky but I like it anyhow.
I had called around to various dealers in Orange County. I didn't want to waste time if they wanted MSRP. Crevier offered me $3000 off MSRP. With the incentives it was $7500. Not a great deal but I was in a sweat to get it after the test drive. So I would not advice negotiating right after the test drive, you will have weak will power. |

BMW incentive is 4K off at 4.89% financing (assuming your credit score qualifies). It turns out I was off by $500: Crevier just took 4.4% off MSRP ($3000). They told me it was 5% but I guess that was not true.
So it was $7000 off of MSRP after incentives. That is 10% off of MSRP after incentives. Not a great deal but as I indicated you will have weak willpower once you test drive. The trouble is the car is brand new so the dealers in Orange County are holding out to see how the market is. I bet by the end of the year you will save another $3000. But I was in a bad place, my 335i just had AM/FM radio after the satellite module went out, it was depressing to drive around listening to AM talk radio. And the water pump was due for replacement at 144,000 miles. The first one went out at 70,000 miles just a few weeks before my CPO warranty expired. So I figured the replacement prolly had the same lifetime in it of 70,000 miles, the water pump was on borrowed time. The joy of driving the M340i covers the pain of not getting a killer deal at Crevier. It will put a smile on your face. It is hard for me not to punch the accelerator but the owners manual says you should hold off the first 1200 miles. There is a lot of superstition behind the break-in period, I am not sure it is warranted. But it is tough to take a chance so I have only goosed it once so far but it was remarkably faster than my 335i. The open differential on the 335i and lack of all-wheel drive prevents you from using all that horsepower. |

the 4.89% is for the 72 month financing. I wasn't putting much down so the monthly payments were steep if I went below 6 year term. But you get 4.39% if you can handle the bigger payments at the shortened terms. With $5,000 down, my payments are $1,000 per month. But you can do considerably less if you lease. I prefer owning but to each his own.
