If it helps, I installed a hatless dp in my F30 328i some years ago. Initially there was a petrol smell but over a reasonably short time, it disappeared and I don't smell it any longer.

there are not much experiences yet. technicaly it can get damaged because of the raised flow. im sure it will get too hot. i wouldnt install a catless dp with opf. a 200 cell could be ok.

I've already forgotten the Idea of catless. I think I'll go for a catted one, but my question was that. With a 200 cell what do you guys think?
Will it get me in trouble with the opf? |

i just talked with a friend, he is a mechanic in a tuning center. he told me that he can recomend downpipes when they developed for opf cars. hjs for example is developing a 200 cell dp. will be available soon. there are allready 200 cel HJS dp available, but not specified for m340i.
he also told me that he installed allready many downpipes on the b58 engine in the m140i with OPF. all hjs 200 cell, no probs, good gains about 25PS and 35NM i found allready tuning vids on youtube, but did not linked because language is german:-) Last edited by john!smith; 01-15-2020 at 10:46 AM.. |
