Now you need to come back to Germany, rent a Porsche and go on one of their "Driving Experience" tours. Porsche plans everything for you, you just pick up a car and drive at your own speed to each destination. Plus they give you some freebies like luggage(at least they use too). Its something I have always wanted to go on.

Thanks for this!
I am definitely signing up.

Hah!! A couple years back... a bunch of us 1Addicts were at the Meilenwerk(no called MotorWorld, in Sindenfingen, near Böblingen/Stuttgart)... this dude pulls up in his daily driver GT3RS and pops into his F40!!! (that he kept stored at the MotorWorld. Man... what a LIFE!! Yes, it was a Saturday, so he probably had a hot date! lol

How did you manage to secure a GT4 as a first time Porsche buyer?

Over MSRP?

Just one for now – can't really tell from the pic, but it has the 918 full bucket seats (which are a *must* have for a Porsche GT car IMO).

LWBS
SC
Fire extinguisher
Leather with red stitching
Red belts
CF trim
Smoker's package
Aluminum pedals

Good spec

Pretty much what I was going to get if the deal didn't fall thru

You made the right choice, and worked hard to earn it. Congrats! This is one of my fav cars of all time.

Nice write up and congrats but honestly, these cars are wasted in this city. Mosport is great but the roads here are diabolical, not just in terms of repair but arrow straight, 4 way stops EVERYWHERE (get some roundabouts ffs!!) and about as much fun as vanilla ice cream.

I want to rent a Boxster S for my birthday but i honestly have no clue where to drive it other than Forks of the Credit which takes all of 4 minutes to drive.

I know, it's such a shame. I've already had a litttttle bit of remorse because of it, but then I get in and drive it and hear how it sounds, and I'm smiling.

Not sure which part of the GTA you're in, but west of the city there are some decent driving roads. Snake Road is quite fun

Lots of good GTA and Southern Ontario roads listed here as well:

There are tons of great roads up through the hockley valley area.
Check these out.

Great story. Love the Agate Grey. It was my second choice.

Nice to see a few other GT4ers on here.
