Look at what the autocross guys are running because they will be sticky with minimal warmup required. Yoko AO52s or Bridgestone RE71rs would be good choices.

Are you going to daily the car? If you are the AO52s and RE71s will last you about a year if your lucky. Plenty of 600hp+ cars out there running Continental Extreme Contact Sport02s, Michelin PS4S and the like.

Currently its on the 225 RFT's and already they spin on stock power. The idea is to, atleast, go stage 2 on E. |

What size wheels are you going to run in back? If stock size then I think above suggestions work well.
If you can run a smaller wheel that fits over your brakes then you open up more drag tire options. |

I've been researching around and unfortunately/fortunately the PS4 might be the best solution for now. Yes... a drag radial will be much better but its a daily and like today, it will see heavy rains. |

Funny Story.
Years ago I took my 09 c6 z06 to the first camarofest in georgia. (I'm from South Florida) Drove up there, did a few 1/4 passes with soft "burnouts" etc etc. On the way home, passing Orlando, all for tires broke loose on freshly laid asphalt!.. no rain in sight! The rest of the 300 mile drive down was at 30mph MAX on the turnpike with the car sliding on every single bridge, new road surface, etc etc. Yea, fun times! |

I can of course swap for a set of drag radials in the rear but what I wanted to see what tires had a change to hook with a stage 2 e50 tune and still have a tire you can daily, including heavy rains, daily use, maintain some of the handling characteristics of the car.... |

I am also RWD and I run full e85 (PI motiv reflex etc). I run 275/35/19 Michelin PS4S as a daily tire and I have a drag pack with Nitto NT555R2's when I go to the track. One important thing with RWD is having your tuner dial in boost by gear and torque ramp in. It helps immensely on a RWD car. I can launch in 1st gear with no issues on the street with Michelin's due to that. Note: 305/45/17 only works on if you stay on stock springs, it won't work with springs.
