330i Exhaust Tip Measurements

The silver chrome tips are driving me crazy. Looking for diameter for the inlet I know the outlet size is 90 mm. If I can't find the sizing worst case I just buy the shadow line exhaust tips.

Did you use the shadowline tips? What's involved in the process?

The size is about 60mm.

I have measured a few hours ago because I want to replace original tips with something different.

Hope it helps!

I bought a new tip and the inlet size for it was 63, but for some reason it won’t fit after I took the chrome original tips off, any idea why?

Do you have a pic of the chrome tip you bought? Particularly the part where it slides in (not the actual tip of the exhaust tip that is visible from outside). There's a thing protruding out from the top of the OEM exhaust pipe to which the clips lock on. That's something that can prevent an aftermarket chrome tip from sliding into place. That may or may not be the reason. Just my $0.02.

I much prefer the look of the 330i’s twin round exhausts (which are like those on my previous 2018 440i Coupe) than the fake ones on my 2020 M340i...

Technically speaking it's only the tips that are fake on the 340i not the actual exhaust Anyway I agree, I don't mind the 340i's, but the round are better in my eyes.
